Product Description

Threaded Pivot Housing of Aluminum, the part is also a kind of pivot housing on windscreen wiper system, which is applied to bigger buses, boat etc. The part looks almost the same to the part number 421-1040 except the length of the two threaded pillar. It is almost 50 mm longer than pivot 421-1040. The most important point to ensure the quality control for this part is the two long pillars, which is decided by the mold design of the location for pouring gate, slag strap, overflow, runner etc. Correct layout of these locations on the mold is the basis to make the part dense enough. Our factory specialize in Die Casting for more than 15 years, we well understand that the mold flow analysis is important to learn if the part can filling well or not prior to the built of the tooling. This part is big, to ensure the density, the choice for the die casting machine tonnage is 400T.

For this part, the pillars is for assembling the shafts from the bore holes. so on both top step holes and bottom step holes, there is one needle bearing each to be pressed in. The needle bearings are a kind of part usually not customized but carried with common criterion.

For the surface specification, the part will have polishing to areas which is hard to be touched by the stones in tumbling, then the e-coating, it is outsourced, the thickness of the e-coating film is only about 0.02 mm.

At last, according to the print, the required material is ADC-12.

ADC-12, is a Japanese aluminum type. The material carried with standard of JIS H 5302-2000, The material is equivalent to Chinese aluminum alloy YL113, the corresponding standard is GB/T 15115-2009. And the material is also equal to A383, the criterion is ASTM B85-03 Standard Specification for Aluminum-Alloy Die Castings
